About

Besides my passion for offensive security, I do enjoy the outdoors, cars, learning new skills, hunting, and hiking. My perfect place to live would probably be in a house surrounded by nature where no sounds of city life can be heard easily and still have a solid internet connection to work from home. This would also make it easier to work on cars without disturbing any neighbors with the noise haha.

I have been in the IT industry for around 8 years and have always loved the security side of IT. Lately I have been pursuing my interest into penetration testing and offensive security and I couldn’t be happier! I love that in the field of offensive security that there is always something to learn and that it is always growing and evolving. Discovering new vulnerabilities to try, developing new tools, trying new methods, it has me excited to learn and become better at the craft every day.

One of the problems I’ve found with being on the blue team side of the fight is that many organizations don’t understand how serious some of these vulnerabilities are out there and ignore them due to cost to fix, time, risk, or many other reasons. One of the things that interested me on the offensive or red team side is that you get to exploit these vulnerabilities and show the organizations in a report that yes I got into your network, this is what I was able to access, and most importantly this is how you can fix it. Not only is ethical hacking fun but we still contribute to improving the cybersecurity front by helping people see how serious vulnerabilities are if left unpatched and also how to fix them.
